Carly M. Muñiz, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly a decade of clinical experience spanning emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, wound care, and inpatient medicine. She is the founder and medical provider of Mi’Bella Wellness Clinic, a wellness-first practice created to deliver high-quality, accessible, and compassionate medical care through telehealth and mobile visits.
Carly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Cum Laude, with a minor in Chemistry from the College of Our Lady of the Elms, followed by her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Bay Path University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and maintains active licensure in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Her clinical background is extensive and hands-on. Carly has worked across high-acuity hospital settings and community-based care, managing both acute and chronic medical conditions, performing advanced physical assessments, interpreting diagnostic testing, and developing individualized treatment plans. Her training includes comprehensive clinical rotations in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, women’s health, and pediatrics, with experience at leading medical centers throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut, including Baystate Medical Center, Holyoke Medical Center, and Johnson Memorial Hospital.
Carly also has specialized training in advanced wound care, including sharp debridement, infection identification and management, offloading techniques, compression therapy, and the application of cellular and tissue-based products. Her wound care approach emphasizes healing optimization, prevention of complications, and patient education.
In addition to her medical and wound care expertise, Carly has completed advanced training and certification in aesthetic and wellness-based therapies, including botulinum toxin (Botox®) administration, dermal fillers, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and IV hydration and vitamin infusion therapy. These services are approached with the same medical rigor, safety standards, and individualized evaluation that guide all care at Mi’Bella Wellness Clinic.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Carly built a strong foundation in patient care through years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT) in hospital, sub-acute, and home-care settings. This early hands-on experience shaped her deep respect for patient dignity, safety, and compassionate, bedside-centered care.
At Mi’Bella Wellness Clinic, Carly blends her strong medical foundation with a whole-person approach to wellness. She provides services such as primary care, acute sick visits, medical weight management, hormone and wellness support, vitamin therapy, and preventive care, with a focus on education, transparency, and sustainable health outcomes.
Carly is known for her clear communication style, evidence-based decision making, and patient-centered philosophy. She takes the time to listen, educate, and partner with patients so they feel informed, empowered, and supported in their care.
She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is deeply committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment for every patient she serves.
